Demcon life sciences & health

I have worked on several projects in the healthcare domain. 

LiGalli Medring (Aug. 2023 - Oct 2025)
I worked on the development of the LiGalli MedRing, a vaginal ring with personalised, remotely programmable drug delivery.

When I joined the team in August, I was responsible for the concept development of the drug container. As of November 2023, I have taken on the role of Mechanical Lead Engineer for this project. 

Ligalli medring

Secrid

Apr. 2025 - Jan. 2026
Secrid is known for its wallets and card protectors. They are extending their product portfolio with new product categories.

I'm responsible for the concept development in one of the categories. This includes the construction and prototyping of (locking) mechanisms.

Bugaboo international

Feb 2021 - Dec 2022
Bugaboo makes parental products like pushchairs for infants and toddlers.

With the first pushchair project, I was responsible for developing the front bridge subsystem. This system is part of a complete chassis, comprising mainly injection-moulded parts.

The main project activities included concept development, prototyping, testing, DFM, and final approval for tooling.

Private ear

Jun. 2022 - present
Private Ear B.V. is a start-up company that develops a listening and hearing protection system for musicians. I am responsible for the mechanical design of the belt pack, in-ear enclosures, and assembly tooling.

PAL-V

Nov. 2019 - Jun. 2021
PAL-V develops the first flying car with the PAL-V Liberty. I was responsible for the development of several airtight electronic casings. These casings are developed in close cooperation with the electrical team.

Promolding

Nov. 2017 - Oct. 2019
Promolding BV is a Polymer Technology and Production Center: design, engineering, and manufacturing of high-tech plastic parts and components.

I worked on various medical projects, from (architecture) concept development to final product approval. Those projects are performed following the ISO 13485 quality management system.

In one of the projects, I was responsible for the implementation of a laser weld station. In this station, two 2k injection-molded parts are welded together to create a cartridge used for eye surgery.

JOOLZ

Oct. 2016 - Nov. 2017
Joolz is a company that designs and manufactures ergonomic pushchairs and accessories. As a project manager and engineer, I was responsible for solving critical issues related to the recently introduced Joolz Day2. This includes prioritizing, identifying root causes, validating and implementing product changes.

Baby
Bloom Healthcare manufactures neonatology equipment, like the BabyBloom Incubator, providing babies worldwide a warm and safe place in which they can further develop.

Philips Consumer Lifestyle

Nov. 2011 - Aug. 2013
I was a member of the mechanical development project, creating the new high-end shaver for Philips. In the starting phase of the project, I was responsible for the development of different product architectures based on input from the design department.

After the final concept was chosen, I had the responsibility to develop several outer parts. This included the frame and back cover, painted and chromed, towards the production-ready Unigraphics CAD files. During this process, I closely cooperated with mold experts.
